Replacement
Finally, when your roof shingles are already worn out, then it makes sense to replace them with new ones instead of attempting to clean them. In this case, you can go for new shingles that are dark enough to disguise the staining, or you can even acquire shingles that are laced with copper granules because the latter is lethal to algae. Just keep in mind that as soon as you have replaced your shingles, you still need to maintain your roof.
